I tend to be one of those crazy people that tends to jump in and help out. Occasionally I am specifically asked to handle a project, but most often I simply suffer from Repeat Volunteerism Syndrom (aka "helium hand"). Though I was involved in the SCA when I was younger, my family and I got involved (again) in the SCA in the summer of 2004 when we moved (back) to the Kingdom of AEthelmearc. Such involvement was somewhat tangential until about a year later when we finally jumped in fully.
